Announcing Strata CIX40 Small Business Solutions with Strata Net and VoIP

 

The Strata CIX product family of IP communication systems has a new member, bringing powerful IP
telephony and Strata Net networking capabilities to small customers and branch office locations. The
Strata CIX40 is a richly-featured, competitively priced small system ideal for the small business market
segment.

A powerful new voice mail designed specifically for it? Of course! A new, equally feature-rich,
competitively priced, 4-port, 40-hour integrated plug and play Toshiba Voice Processing system
(GVPH1A) with built-in modem plugs into the Strata CIX40 cabinet.

This integrated combination of the Strata CIX40 and GVPH1A is one of the most powerful and costeffective
small business solutions in today’s market.

Also new is a flexible IP interface designed exclusively for CIX40. The new GIPH-X1A card supports 8 IP
channels which can be flexibly configured for Strata Net networking channels, IP telephones, SIP phones
and Soft IP telephones.

The CIX40 is easy and very cost effective to install. The CIX40 and GVPH1A voice mail system are
preprogrammed to match all related parameters. This includes station numbers, mailboxes, voice mail
hunt groups, voice mail station IDs and more. The default program data is set when the processor is
initialized even if the expansion cards or GVPH1A Voice Mail system is not installed prior to system
initialization.

The CIX40 does not require processor licenses for analog Caller ID CO Lines, Voice Mail ports, digital or
analog station ports, DTMF Receivers, etc. The only licenses needed are for IP Strata Net networking
channels, Toshiba IP telephones, SIP phones and Soft IP telephones connected to the GIPH-X1A.

Voice mail provides advanced features such as:

• Voice Mail Call Monitor – answering machine like operation to monitor and optionally pick-up a call when someone is leaving a voice message.
• Voice Mail LCD Feature Prompting with Soft Key Operation.
• Call Record – enables the user to record live calls.

The fully expanded CIX40 system provides the following capacities:

• 6 loop start CO line ports with Caller ID.
• 16 digital station ports.
• Two standard telephone ports.
• 8 IP channels for IP telephone or Strata Net connection.
• 4 voice mail ports with 40 hours of message storage and 374 mailboxes.
